About Me...

I am a seeker and searcher...transitioning into ever new life. Each day offers a chance to encounter God in Creation--humans, nature and the cosmos. I am a grateful mother of awesome young adults and I'm owned by a golden retriever named Tebow. I've had a wonderful career in the blind rehabilitation field, teaching adaptive living skills and orientation and mobility. I'm a Spiritual Director, too, which is journeying with people noticing how God is present in their lives. In June of 2018, I retired from the blindness field, sold my house, and moved to Boise to be closer to family. I live in a small, cozy apartment with a treehouse! (Thus the name "Tales from the Treehouse.") I find that the lessons I learn each day through reading scripture and holy readings are to be shared with others.  Anything I learn from God I need to pass on...
